Small Groups.

Small groups are gatherings of 10-15 people from Hosea that meet weekly throughout the Raleigh area. They are the primary way we mature as Jesus-followers and connect with one another at our church.

Small group leaders at Hosea are held to the qualifications for deacons found in 1 Timothy 3:8-12. They are trusted men and women with high character and devotion to Jesus, and we believe each of them has been called to serve in this particular role.

Our small group gatherings typically begin with refreshments and socializing, followed by a discussion of a Bible passage led by the group leader with the goal of applying it to our lives. If you’re visiting a small group, you’ll find that you can participate in the discussion as much or as little as you’d like, with any amount of familiarity with the Bible. After the discussion, groups end the evening by taking some time to pray together.

Our groups are primarily for people that regularly attend Hosea. If you are interested in a group, we would encourage you to first check out a Sunday service to ensure that Hosea feels like a good fit for you.
